About the Show

More Than a Competition.
A Movement.

Purplepreneur Star is a live entrepreneurship competition series produced by Purple Rain Galore, created to give Africa's boldest young founders a real stage — not just a platform. Each season, entrepreneurs from across Nigeria and beyond go head-to-head in front of expert judges, with funding, mentorship, and media exposure all on the line.

The show is built on a simple but radical idea: that talent and drive matter more than background, connections, or capital. Whether you're running a fashion brand out of Yaba, a tech startup from Enugu, or a food business in Port Harcourt — if you've got the hustle, you've got a shot.

Now in its fourth season, Purplepreneur Star has funded over 16 entrepreneurs, deployed more than ₦1 million in grants, and built one of Nigeria's most exciting communities of young business owners. Past contestants have gone on to scale their businesses, attract investors, and become mentors themselves.

This isn't TV. It's a launchpad.
